Day 1: Paris la ville Lumière... ;)

Group arrived in France safe, sound and in good spirits! Everyone was through customs and baggage claim by just after 1pm local time, then we hopped in our van and braved Parisian traffic to finally get to our hotel at around 3. We took a little time to freshen up, discuss some important program guidelines and then we headed through le Jardin de Luxembourg and down Boulevard Saint Michel to a little restaurant just a stones throw from the Seine  and Notre Dame de Paris. After supper, some chose to return to the hotel for some rest, while others strolled île de la Cité and les Halles before calling it a night.

The students promised to share some of their pictures... but I'm still waiting. ;) Maybe, we'll be able to get them up on tomorrow's post!
